Born in Saskatoon, Dr. Giang moved to Edmonton at the age of 2. She got her first pair of glasses at the age of 8 and loved seeing her optometrist every year.

In 2009, Dr. Giang traveled to India on a mission trip, where she helped deliver eye care to underserved communities. This trip inspired her to become an optometrist to help serve her local community.

Dr. Giang is a residency-trained optometrist. She completed a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta in 2011, and went on to graduate with Honours from The Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, TX. To further her training, she pursued a residency in Ocular Disease and Family Practice at the Northeastern State University, Oklahoma College of Optometry.

Dr. Giang has been a part of Capital Vision Care since 2016. She enjoys building lifelong relationships with her patients and being one who takes care of their eye health.
