Dr. Taylor Parenteau was born in Calgary but has called St. Albert home for the last 15 years. She obtained her Doctor of Optometry Degree with Dean’s Honours in 2021 from the University of Waterloo and is very happy to be back home serving her community. As a student, she travelled to Jamaica with Canadian Vision Care to provide eye care to underserved communities and is looking forward to participating in more humanitarian eyecare projects in the future.

Dr. Parenteau believes an important part of her job as an optometrist is to educate. Her favourite part of an exam is at the end when she gets to answer any and all of your questions to help you truly understand your glasses prescription and ocular health. Dr. Parenteau is passionate about providing quality comprehensive patient-centred care to her patients and she can’t wait to meet you!
